About Me
Hi, I’m Courtney— an independent facilitator, special education advocate, and lifelong believer in doing hard things with heart. I’m a nurse by training, a parent by privilege, and a systems navigator by necessity. I’ve spent years walking alongside families through IEPs, service plans, and the maze of supports for which there is no map. Now, through Anchor Family Solutions, I bring that experience forward—offering clear guidance, fierce advocacy, and practical support for every step of the journey.

Independent Facilitation
We help individuals and families navigate California’s Self-Determination Program with clarity, confidence, and compassion—offering person-centered planning, support with spending plans, connection to trusted providers, and step-by-step guidance throughout the entire process.

Advocacy
We partner with individuals and families to ensure their rights are upheld and their voices are heard—whether in education, services, or daily life. We provide expert support during IEP and 504 meetings, thorough records reviews, and dedicated advocacy for appropriate services, placement, and meaningful progress.

Skills Development Program
These small-group and individualized sessions are designed for learners of all ages to strengthen academic, social, emotional, adaptive, and learning readiness skills through hands-on activities and guided support. We focus on building communication, social skills, connection, and confidence—equipping learners with the tools they need to thrive in school, relationships, and everyday life.
